You can also provision a data warehouse with Snowflake as part of the trial with upto 25 snowflake credits. You will also have the option of entering your credit card information for uninterrupted access in case you exceed the 25 credit limit.

You can simply add your credit card to upgrade to the pay-as-you-go plan or contact us to learn more about capacity deals. 5X works purely on a usage based model so there are no platform fees for 5X ever.

By default, you will be billed monthly based on your consumption. Reach out to us for more for more billing options, such as billing by invoice or an annual plan.

It’s a normalized unit of consumption on 5X. Credits get utilized as you consume various components of the 5X data platform. Consumption is based on compute resources & data processed - will vary for each component like Ingestion, Modelling, Orchestration and Business Intelligence. 5X runs on top of the 4 major data warehouses - Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift and Big Query with Synapse support coming soon. You can import your Snowflake warehouse during onboarding. Please reach out to us to get setup with Databricks, Redshift or Big Query.

You will continue to receive a separate bill from your data warehouse provider. If you provision Snowflake through 5X you will receive a 5% discount on your Snowflake compute credits. Your Snowflake compute and storage costs will be added onto your monthly bill. Note: Snowflake consumption does not translate into 5X credits.

5X was built with flexibility in mind so you can use 5X in combination with any of your existing data vendors. You can use 5X to build a complete data platform from scratch or fill in the missing pieces. Given we work on a consumption model you will only be charged for credits you consume from the products you set up through 5X.

We’ve seen that total cost of ownership (TCO) for an all in one data platform is 30-50% lower than building a platform using a multiple vendor strategy.
